Trash the Dress

Thankfully today got a little more productive.  Once I drank my venti caramel macciato, I was able to empty my inbox, finish all of my outstanding work projects, workout, cut Caleb's hair and make dinner.  Hopefully this means tomorrow will be super productive! :)


I had one of my wedding nightmares last night.  I use to get these all of the time before I got married.  Each nightmare was always a bit different, but with the same premise - it's five minutes before I'm supposed to walk down the aisle and I'm not ready. No makeup, no hair-do and no wedding dress.  Sheer panic.


Thankfully, I woke up and my wedding dress was still hanging in my closet, 6 years later -  still waiting to go to the dry cleaners.  I've only tried it on once since my wedding, I'm curious to try it on again.


I've also really considered doing a "trash the dress" photo shoot. Have you seen anyone do this? These are some photos I found through Pinterest

I think it would be fun to get more pictures in the dress and its not like I've done a lot with it in the past 6 years.  I'm drawn to the ocean pictures, but I've also since photo shoots on a farm, in the mountains, etc.  Interesting idea!


Well, I'm off to watch a tv show with the hubby and then go to sleep!
