What a marvelous week it has been. I seriously cannot believe it has been a week since I have blogged! I wake up every day thinking, "I have so much I want to blog about, I've got to pull it together today!" and then the phone goes off, I get 5 emails, the doorbell rings, and I realize today is not the day to pursue anything other than surviving.
This past week has been quite full of preparing for a trade show, working a part-time database job, birthday parties, salsa dancing, a cooking class, thrift store shopping, preparing for this garage sale, and repainting a bathroom!
I have many great recipes to share plus fun fall decorating tips, so I'll be back soon!
A challenging thought for today....evaluating your attitude. Charles Swindoll said,
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.”
great quote...there are days that i can barely take a breath with all that I do! :) It is good to be reminded about the attitude!
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks Courtney for posting that quote...definitely what I needed this morning...I've been drowning in busyness...and that usually causes me to have a whiny, poor pitiful me attitude! I'm going to link back to you on my blog a little later today!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend!

This is my first week of blogging, and writing is like giving blood for me. So what I have done is I won't allow myself to eat breakfast until I have blogged. Of course tomorrow I might starve we shall see. Love your style, and passions.
