Decorating with Glass

I love the style of decorating with jars, vases, bowls, and all different types of glass containers.  They have a way of making even a practical organization method look attractive and decorative!

I use black soap as my face wash and I have been on a hunt to find a small glass container to put it in.  When I buy it, the store puts it in a cheap plastic container that's not very becoming on my bathroom counter.

This weekend while I was out and about, I found a jar for $1.99 that was perfect!  It took my face wash from looking like this:

(please overlook the insane amount I pay for this "dog poop" as Caleb likes to call it.
It's a miracle worker, but pricey!)

to this:

Much better!

Some other pretty glass decorating ideas...

Pottery Barn takes a simple vase (I have seen these at Wal-Mart) and adds fall inspired filler and a candle. I love the layering effect here, very pretty!

Again, Pottery Barn. I love, love, love these! If only my bathroom was big enough to justify these. So elegant and pretty!

I love this idea! Thrifty Decor Chick created these from jars she found at Wal-Mart. Awesome and thrifty!

Check out how Keen Inspirations transformed her coffee necessities into a creative display in her kitchen!

Any other ideas or pictures you have, I'd love to see!
