The Whole Kit and Kaboodle ~ The Beginning of October

So...quite a bit has happened since last Tuesday.

Wednesday was my near death experience.

Thursday was my work like crazy, get a bunch done day!  It was also the day that we found out that our car problems were not going to be an easy fix and that it was going to cost at the bare minimum $2500 to fix our car. Ah, fun.  Also, Caleb didn't get home until after 8 PM, so it was just a long day.

Friday was another crazy work day.  We got to spend the evening with friends though, which is always fantastic!  We went to Rev Coffee House to hear a friend sing.

our super talented friend...

Our other super talented friends! :) plus me.

The boys, who look much less thrilled than we do.  But they deal, 'cause we're cute.

Saturday was definitely project day at our house!  First of all, we took apart our marvelous washing machine to figure out what the stink was!  After Caleb took the entire thing apart and there was no apparent problem, we realized that the hot water hose had a kink in it!  So whenever I was doing hot loads, it was only giving  me cold water.  Hence, the rancid smell! So that problem is solved.

I took these frames...

and made them something pretty.  But you'll have to wait to see what I did. :)  I also bought some mums to spruce up my front walkway and did some grocery shopping.

Sunday is always pretty much our church day. We volunteer, so we end up getting there around 3 PM which means we leave here around 2.  It was another excellent, wonderful night of worship, communion, and reflection.  We are so thankful for Passion City Church!  My sister joined us for church, which was fun! Afterwards, we all went and had dinner together in order to squeeze in just a bit more fellowship before the week ended!  I love spending time with the people I love, I just wish I had more time to do it!

I also found some time to spruce up my living room's end table.

Yesterday was my dad's birthday! Happy Birthday Dad! and Thursday is my brother's birthday, where he'll turn 17 and make me cry!! He's the best brother a girl could ask for!

I hope your week went wonderfully and that this one is off to a great start!
