Another very simple shopping week. I promise that we are eating! I just had such a stockpile of meat that I've been using up what I have from the freezer. I'm going to have to make a big stock up trip soon, hopefully we get some decent sales.
Most of this was bought to make a big pot of Italian Minestrone soup. Such a healthy, filling, but tasty meal. I'll share the recipe soon. :)
So this week, I spent $27.95 and saved $18.88. This is only a 40% savings, but since a lot of this wasn't on sale/produce I still felt good about it!
I'm hoping this post will prove 2 things:
#1 - you can save on stuff you buy already. I wrote my grocery list, pulled coupons for the items on my list, and still saved 40%.
#2 - that you can save on healthy food. I'm thinking everything in this picture can qualify as "healthy" :)
