Shannon's Baby Shower

Like I said in my previous post, I hosted a shower for my friend Shannon last weekend.  It was a family + friends from Atlanta shower and we had a great time!  Shannon's sisters helped me so much with this shower and I appreciate all they did to help me pull this off!

I found Pinterest to be a great tool for baby shower planning.  Endless inspiration and great ideas - so much fun!  See my baby shower inspiration board.

We had fruit skewers, veggie platter, spicy chicken roll-ups, spinach artichoke dip, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, petite fours, dinner mints, apple cider punch, and coffee. 

Shannon's mom and sister designed the invitation - super cute and personalized! (even cuter without the necessary black squares :)

All shower guests filled out a Dear Baby card, great keepsake for the mother and child to look back on.

We played the "measure the belly" game and gave away pumpkin scone and pumpkin cookie mixes as gifts.  Two of Shannon's sisters won this game!

Instead of giving Shannon cards, everyone gave her their favorite childhood book to start Adelyn's collection!

I got this darling bib for Adelyn from lillybelle.  

Karen did a beautiful job - I highly recommend her for great service and excellent work!
